AVL – the largest H2-Company in Austria
The technology leader AVL continues to invest in the expansion of innovative drive systems and has opened a new test centre for hydrogen technologies at its Graz location. Covering 600 m² it houses 20 high-performance test stands. With a total test capacity of 2 MW, the test facility is one of the largest and most advanced in the world.
High-speed electric motor converter from the Green Tech Valley
This new high-speed drive, which is is more efficient and thus more environmentally friendly, has been jointly developed by research and industrial partners, Montanuniversität & Materials Center Leoben, FH Joanneum, Pankl Racing Systems AG, TDK Electronics and Infineon Austria. It works using the latest energy-saving chips made from silicon carbide semiconductor material and even with maximum performance it is only as small as a shoebox.
