Green Tech Valley
The Green Tech Valley, in southern Austria, is the hotspot for green Research and Development. Over 2300 scientists work here on the green solutions of the future. With a research ratio of over 5%, the Valley is a frontrunner under EU comparison. The companies themselves also contribute to this: they deliver an additional 2/3 in research output on top. A particular strength of the Green Tech Valley is applied research. Industry in Styria and Carinthia continuously sets new standards in this area, driving forward the emergence of fresh innovation.
