Green Tech Valley
The Green Tech Valley represents a formidable innovative force in both the green power – hydro, solar and biomass – as well as the recycling sector. This special location in southern Austria is noted for more than 600 innovations in green technology. Every 5th kWh of renewable electricity is generated from Valley technologies. Green solutions from Styria and Carinthia have already produced savings in CO2 emissions of 550 Mt. The export level is around 90%. Renewable energy technologies in particular are best sellers.
